CRANE ACCOMMODATION VESSEL DLV-2000
Dutch Offshore Innovators BV has prepared a design for a DP-2/DP-3 class Offshore Construction/Diving Support Vessel. The vessel features a fully MLC-2006 and IMO SPS-2008 compliant, 500 person accommodation block.
The DLV-2000 is a self propelled, DP-3 crane/ accommodation vessel that has been designed to perform a number of tasks. Using the 2,000 metric ton main crane the vessel can be deployed for installation, maintenance and removal of fixed and/or floating offshore structures. The vessel can be kept in position by means of its DP-3 compliant dynamic positioning system, or by means of an optional 8/10 point mooring system.
The deckhouse provides accommodation for 500 persons. A heave compensated gangway allows crew to transfer to fixed offshore structures. The vessel has been designed to fit a future well stimulation tower. Once DP-3 compliance is not required, the vessel can work up to its maximum design environment in DP-2 mode.
